Nutella Sea Salt Fudge

Nutella Sea Salt Fudge Recipe

This recipe yields approximately 16-25 pieces of fudge, depending on how you cut them.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Chill time: At least 2 hours (preferably longer)

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup Nutella

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Equipment:

  • 8x8 inch square baking pan

  • Parchment paper or aluminum foil

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Medium saucepan

  • Heatproof spatula or spoon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving an overhang on the sides. This will make it easy to lift the fudge out later.

  2. Combine all the ingredients listed above.

  3. Melt and Stir: In video, I melted in the microwave in 15 second increments until melted and smooth.

Stovetop method: Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until everything is melted and smooth.

  4. Pour into Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

  5. Sprinkle with Sea Salt: Immediately sprinkle the top of the fudge generously with flaky sea salt. The amount will depend on your preference.

  6. Chill: Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm. For best results, chill for several hours or overnight.

  7. Cut and Serve: Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper or foil overhang. Cut it into squares. The size of the squares will determine the final yield.
