Avocado Toast Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
2-4 slices of bread (whole-grain, sourdough, or your favorite)
1/2 lemon or lime
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon pepper seasoning
Feta Cheese
Instructions:
Toast the bread: Toast the bread to your desired level of crispness.
Prepare the avocado:
Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until it reaches your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
Squeeze lemon or lime juice over the mashed avocado to prevent browning and add lemon pepper seasoning
Season with salt and pepper
Assemble the toast:
Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread
Sprinkle more lemon pepper seasoning and add the feta cheese to taste
Serve immediately.
