Avocado Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 2-4 slices of bread (whole-grain, sourdough, or your favorite)

  • 1/2 lemon or lime

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Lemon pepper seasoning

  • Feta Cheese

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread: Toast the bread to your desired level of crispness.

  2. Prepare the avocado:

    • Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

    • Mash the avocado with a fork until it reaches your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).

    • Squeeze lemon or lime juice over the mashed avocado to prevent browning and add lemon pepper seasoning

    • Season with salt and pepper

  3. Assemble the toast:

    • Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread

    • Sprinkle more lemon pepper seasoning and add the feta cheese to taste

  4. Serve immediately.
